Business Portal

The Business Portal provides RMV access through a login to RMV information and transactions.

Depending on the type of access you have, the Business Portal gives you the ability to:

  • Inquire on drivers and vehicles
  • Recommit excise to another town
  • Submit excise valuation corrections
  • Update customer’s garaging address

Each user that would like access to the Business Portal must complete a RMV Business User Request form. You must have an Access Agreement on file with the RMV before you will be issued login credentials to the Business Portal.

To verify if you have an Access Agreement on file with the RMV send an email to atlas.municipalities@dot.state.ma.us.

How do new users request access to the portal?

Your designated security contact (if applicable) can submit Business Portal access requests for your users using the RMV Business Partner User Request form. Completed forms should be emailed to rmvbusinesspartners@dot.state.ma.us.

Who should I contact if my account is locked out or having trouble logging into the portal?

What if I forget my Business Portal username?

You should contact RMV IS Security at rmvbusinesspartners@dot.state.ma.us if you forget your Business Portal username.
